Acoustic Anthems is a new joint venture combining the experience and passion of two of Sydney’s professional musicians and their love for chart classics , reimagined in a refreshing slick acoustic format. Whether it be a full dancefloor, crowded sing along or a room requiring musical ambiance, Acoustic Anthems will entertain even the most discerning crowd.
Born in country NSW , Steve Keys has been a multi instrumentalist across Sydney and has performed as a touring musician around Australia sharing his love of classic rock and timeless pop hits. With a Conservatorium degree in music education and performance , he brings a natural flair and ability to Acoustic Anthems with arrangements that are both engaging and entertaining. Recent musical journeys include sessions for corporate party bands and as keyboardist/backing vocals for Australia’s premier INXS tribute “Don’t Change”.
David Berner is an accomplished front man vocalist and rhythm guitarist having fronted a number of touring Rock Shows for over 15 years. Examples of such shows are the currently touring Wanted – The Bon Jovi Show as well as bands such as “Better Live”, Billboard, Blaze of Glory or Millenium Bug.
